Before Your Appointment
Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Arrive well hydrated and eat a light meal beforehand to stabilize blood sugar.
- Come with clean skin in the treatment area, free of makeup, skincare, or oils.
- Fully disclose all medical history, medications, supplements, allergies, and recent treatments.
Avoid Before Treatment
- Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours prior to your appointment.
- Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements unless prescribed by your physician.
- Do not attend your appointment if you are unwell or have active skin irritation, infection, or cold sores in the treatment area.
After Your Appointment
Post-Treatment Care
- Remain upright for at least four hours following treatment.
- Keep the treated area makeup-free for 12–24 hours.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Follow all personalized post-treatment instructions provided by your injector.
- Sleep on your back the first night, when possible.
Avoid After Treatment
- Do not touch, rub, or massage the treated area.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
- Refrain from alcohol consumption for 48 hours.
- Avoid heat exposure such as saunas or steam rooms for 48 hours.
- Avoid facials and energy-based treatments for two weeks, unless cleared by your provider.
What to Expect
- Temporary swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness at injection sites
- Mild headache, tightness, or firmness in treated areas
- Temporary asymmetry due to swelling
- Most effects resolve within several days to two weeks
Who Is Not a Candidate
- Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals
- Under 18 years of age
- Immunocompromised or undergoing active cancer treatment
- Uncontrolled autoimmune or inflammatory conditions
- Known allergies to injectable components
- Severe procedural anxiety
Temporary Contraindications
- Active illness, infection, or fever
- Cold sores or skin inflammation
- Recent dental work or vaccination
- Recent facial surgery or trauma
- Recent isotretinoin use
- Treatment may be postponed for safety
